Peter Kruizenga
Peter B. Kruizenga, 86, of Buckley, Washington, a former resident of Sioux Center, died June 10 in Puyallup, Washington. Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Weeks Funeral Home in Buckley with burial at Evergreen Memorial Park.

Kruizenga was born December 6, 1919, in Sioux Center. He served in the Army during WW II. He owned and operated his own trucking business, Kruizenga Trucking, and retired in 1980. He loved the Lord, his family and working in his
yard and shop.

Survivors are his wife Wilma of Buckley; sons, Dennis Kruizenga of Kapowsin, Washington, and Terry Kruizenga (Cindy) of Enumclaw, Washington; daughters, Charlotte Lanting (Andy) of Napavine, Washington, and Sherry Kruizenga of Buckley, Washington; brother, Melvin Kruizenga (Mary) of Hospers; sisters, Esther Schoneveld of Chino, California, Alice Doieslager of Hospers, Katie Koster of Hull, Winnie Culander of Hospers, Maryanne Wiarda of Hospers; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers Paul, Johnny, Ben and Glenn Kruizenga; and sister Dena Koster.

Remembrances may be made to Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, 1 Billy Graham Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28201.
