Alfred Searle, 61, of Redwood Falls, Minn., a former well known resident of this vicinity, died in a Minneapolis hospital Monday night from tetanus.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon in the Presbyterian church in Redwood Falls.

Mr. Searle, son of Mr. & Mrs. L. H. Searle, was born at Hawarden, January 5, 1887. He grew up on the Searle farm and attended Hawarden high school. He married Mabel Wheeler of Ireton and following his marriage continued farming in this vicinity. He went to Redwood Falls 28 years ago and farmed until 2 years ago when he retired.

Survivors are his wife; two sons, Wayne and Eugene of Redwood Falls; his father, L. H. Searle of Hawarden; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Heumphreus and Mrs. C. E. Wasser of Hawarden, and three grandchildren.
