Rock Valley - Veronica Cogswell, 83, Rock Valley, died Saturday, March 26, at Valley Manor Nursing Home in Rock Valley.

Services were Monday, March 28, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rock Valley; with Father Doug Klein officiating. Burial was at Valley View Cemetery in Rock Valley, under the direction of Porter Funeral Home.

Veronica Cogswell, daughter of William & Vera (Pollard) Grady, was born April 2, 1921 in Colfax County, NE.

She married Earl Clifford Cogswell on June 12, 1942, in Rock Valley. They farmed and raised cattle north of Rock Valley. Mr. Cogswell died Oct. 22, 1981. She remained on the farm and continued the farming and raising of cattle.

She is remembered for her care to her family friends, home and the cattle.
