Henry Fedders Died Sunday

Henry, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman and Hiltje(Mulder)Fedders, died at his home, 2½ miles south of Ireton, Sunday noon following an operation for appendicitis and complications from smallpox at the age of 18 years, 8 months and 18 days. He submitted to the operation last Wednesday. Private funeral for the immediate family was held Monday noon and a service for the public was held at the Christian Reformed church at 2 o'clock with Rev. Van Dyke in charge at both places. Burial was made in Pleasant Hill cemetery.

Henry Fedders was born Oct. 24 1917, and lived practically all his life in this vicinity. He was a young man of promise, loyal to his parents and friends. He had a good Christian training which gave him an outlook on life with many virtues. His illness brought out some of the splendid principles of patience, love and hope. His death is a severe shock to his family.

Besides his parents he is survived by three sisters Mrs. Peter Westra, LeMars and Mrs. George Westra and Mathilda, Ireton and three brothers, Dick, Ben and Gerrit at home. A death under these circumstances always seems much harder because of the seclusion of friends and neighbors. Sincere sympathy is extended to the bereaved parents, brothers and sisters.
