Mrs. Hattie Sybesma Feikema, 69, died Wednesday of last week from a heart attack just three weeks after the death of her husband. She was Supt. R.B. Feikema’s mother.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 1 o’clock at the home and at 1:30 in the Christian Reformed Church at Leota, Minnesota.

Mrs. Feikema was born on January 27, 1887, in The Netherlands and came to the United States in 1909. She married John Feikema in 1911, to which this union nine children were born, three of whom preceded her in death.

The family lived in the Hawarden vicinity 27 years and in the Sioux Falls area six years before moving to Leota.

Survivors include six children, Clarence of Luverne, Frank of Leota, Bernard of Hawarden, Mrs. Henry De Bie of Artesia, California, Mrs. Steve Brockhouse of Edgerton, Mrs. Dewey Van Zanter of Colton, South Dakota; a sister, Mrs. Fred Kooi of Denver; a brother, Sam Sybesma of Platte, South Dakota, and 18 grandchildren.
