Christina Jepson aged twelve died of brain fever at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Peter Jepson in Eagle Township Tuesday and was buried at Hawarden Thursday.

(From the 1900 census record and cemetery records. Peter Jepsen was born Jul 1875 in Germany he died 1964 buried Grace Hill Hawarden. His wife was Hannah Westergard born Jul 1872 died 1965 buried Grace Hill. The spelling on the cemetery stone is Jepsen. The 1900 census listed children as Christina born Dec 1895 New York, Jule bron Jul 1897 Iowa and Anna born Oct 1899 Iowa. They lived near Chatsworth in Logan Township.)
