TRACY-Services for Nellie D. Jones, 80, of Tracy will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Tracy Lutheran Church. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Butson-Jacobson Funeral Home in Tracy. Burial will be in the Tracy Cemetery.

Mrs. Jones died Friday morning at Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Fall, S.D.

She was born March 26, 1901, in Redwood Falls to Christian and Lulu (Knable) Nelson. She lived in the Milroy and Lucan areas until her marriage to Guy Van Meveren on Oct. 20, 1920, at Redwood Falls. The couple lived in Hospers, Iowa, for a number of years before moving to the Woodstock area in 1924. They moved to the Balaton area in 1933 and to Tracy in 1942. Mr. Van Meveren died in 1968. She married Evan Jones on Nov. 12, 1978, at Tracy.

Surviving area her husband, Evan; son, Allen Van Meveren of Coleman, S.D.; daughters, Mrs. Willis (Lula) Mariner of Garvin and Mrs. Audrey Thompson of Sioux Falls; 21 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Lula Gauquie of Lake Benton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, a daughter, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, one brother and two sisters.
