Nellie Van Rooyen

Mrs. Nellie Van Rooyen, 98, died July 10, in the local hospital. Services were held July 12, in the Trinity Reformed Church of Orange City.

Nellie was born at rural Hospers, daughter of John and Kate (Zorgdrager) Fonkert. She married Walter Van Rooyen; He died in 1990. They farmed in Newkirk, Orange City and Doon areas.

Survivors include 3 daughters and spouses, and one son, Jack and others.
