Gerald Vande Kamp, 70, of Hardwick, MN, died June 29 at his home. funeral services were held July 2, at the American Reformed Church in Luverne with burial at Maplewood Cemetery.

Gerald was born to Gerrit and Hattie (Gerritson) Vande Kamp on March 15, 1934, on the family farm near Sioux Center, where he was raised and attended school. He married Delores Timmer on Nov. 4, 1955 in Sioux Center. They farmed near Sioux Center. They then moved to a farm near Hardwick, MN. in 1967.

Gerald is survived by his wife Delores, three children, Gregory and his wife Denise Vande Kamp of Aberdeen, S.D., Arlyn and his wife Patti Vande Kamp of Hardwick, MN., and Pamela and her husband Duane Tieszen of Larchwood, IA.; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; seven sisters, Wilhelmina Kraayenbrink of Hull, Margaret Sybesma of Sheldon, Alvina and her husband Donald Punt of Sioux Center, Henrietta and her husband Harold Sneller of Sioux Center; Gracia and her husband Lloyd Punt of Pipestone, MN., Helen and her husband Edwin Mulder of Munster, IND. and Gert and her husband Don Vos of Ripon, CA.
