Rev. Charles Vander Beek

The Rev. Charles Vander Beek, 82, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, died Thursday June 26, in Grand Rapids.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred; children, Patricia and Dr. Henry Vander Kolk and the Rev. Ronald Vander Beek; stepchildren, Bob and Mary Boerigter, Barbara and Dave Schutt and Jan and Verl Van Riessen; four grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Marion Stam and Mrs. Gary De Jong; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gretta, formerly of Sioux Center.

Memorials may be directed to Words of Hope.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. August 9 at Central Reformed Church, in Grand Rapids, MI.
