Virginia Lee Horn, 60. of Boyden died Friday. March 27, at the Sioux Valley Hospital In Sioux Falls. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at First Reformed Church In Boyden with the Rev. Matthew Draffen officiating. Burial was in Sherman Township Cemetery.

Mrs. Horn was born July 19, 1937, in Sanborn, the daughter of Alfred G. and Myrtle (Evans) Kruger. She was graduated from Sheldon Public School. She married Marvin D. Horn November 19, 1957, in Sheldon. The couple farmed near Boyden from 1957 to 1987, then they moved Into Boyden. She was a member of First Reformed Church and enjoyed sewing.

Survivors include her husband; a son and his wife, Joel and Janet of Boyden; a daughter and her husband, Rebecca and David Coffey of Harmony, Indiana; three brothers and their wives, Donald and Gwen, John and Delores and Alfred, Jr. and Linda Kruger, all of Sheldon; a sister and her husband, Audrey and Robert Magnuson of Portland, Oregon; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Daniel Jay; a granddaughter, and a sister in infancy.
