Herbert Horn, 80, of Boyden died Wednesday, February 5, at the Sheldon Nursing Home. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Friday at United Presbyterian Church; in Boyden with the Rev. Stephen Tamminga officiating. Burial was in the Boyden Cemetery.

Horn was born March 16, 1907, in Boyden. He married Hermina Van Den Bosch February 24, 1932, in Boyden. The couple farmed near Boyden until 1971 when they retired and moved into town. He was a member of United Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his, wife; a daughter, Vera Van Der Maaten of Boyden; two sisters, Eunice Reimers and Esther Slykhuis, both of Boyden; and two grandchildren.
