Mrs. Florence Smith went to Ireton Wednesday afternoon to attend the funeral of her uncle, Albert Griffith, who passed away at his home in Ireton Sunday evening.

Funeral services were held from the Lutheran Church that afternoon at 2 o’clock and interment was in the Ireton Cemetery. Mr. Griffith was 75 years of age at the time of his death and had lived in that vicinity for many years. He suffered a stroke some weeks ago from which he never recovered.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Etta Griffith, and three sons; Russell of California, Robert, who is surviving with the armed forces in India, and Warren at home, he having recently received an honorable discharge from the services, owing to injuries received in action in Italy. He is also survived by one grandson, and one sister, Mrs. Etta DuVall of Upland, California.
