Funeral services for Etta Griffith, 79, Ireton, who died Thursday in a nursing home, were held at 2 P.M. Saturday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Ireton. Burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Griffith was born June 7, 1882, in Illinois and came to Ireton with her parents when a child. She was married to Al Griffith in 1913. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons, Robert and Russell, both of Biloxi, Mississippi; six grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Grace Pereboom of Brookings, South Dakota, Mrs. Tina Cornish of Hawarden, Iowa, Mrs. Sena Vander Ham of Sheldon, Iowa, and Mrs. Hattie Vlotho of Ireton, and a brother, Warren Nanninga, of Sioux City.
