DIED, October 10, 1900, at her home near Rock Valley, Iowa, Mrs. Joseph Elbert, aged 34 years, 3 months and 14 days.

Mrs. Elbert was born at New Munster, Wis., on June 26, 1866, and lived at the same place till her marriage to Jos. Elbert on February 22, 1886. Shortly after their marriage they came to Sioux county and settled in this community. Here she resided continuously till her death. For the past year she has been in broken and failing health and although every care was given her through the last months, she grew steadily weaker and at last succumbed to Death's icy fingers. Her husband and three children, a boy aged 12, a girl, 7 and a boy, 2 survive her besides her mother, two sisters and two brothers.

She was a faithful wife, a loving mother, an affectionate daughter and sister and her loss will be keenly felt by her loved ones. She was a kind hearted woman and a devout Christian. All who knew her loved her and will join with The Bee in mourning her loss.
