Died: 1928Frank S. Griffin, aged 60 years, formerly of LeMars but recently had made his home at Inwood, died suddenly Monday afternoon while on his was to Inwood in a car driven by Guy Trenhaile, a traveling man of Sheldon. Mr. Trenhaile was driving along the highway when Griffin hailed him for a ride. “My chest hurts me so that I can’t walk,” and a few minutes later he was dead. An identification card was found on him and also an envelope containing white tablets and bearing the return card of a medical dispensary in Sioux City which indicated that he had been a patron of that institution. He had $23 in currency on him. Griffin is said to have picked corn for Chris Anderson near Fairview last fall.
