Jeffrey John Zoet. 34, of Hull, died Friday, April 7, on his farm at Hull.

Funeral service was Tues. at 10 a.m. at First Reformed Church in Hull with the Rev. Verlyn Boone officiating. Interment was at the Hope Cemetery in Hull.

Zoet was born on March 18, 1972 ini Sheldon, the son of John Marvin "Bud" and Betty Jane (Heusinkveld) Zoet. He was raised at Hull, where he graduated from the Boyden-Hull High School in 1990. He has since farmed with his father north of Hull.

He was a member of First Reformed Church. He also belonged to the Hull Saddle Club, where he enjoyed roping. In addition, he liked tractor pulling and snowmobiling. However, his favorite times were spent with family members and friends, especially his nephews and nieces.

Survivors include his parents of Hull, maternal grandparents, Delbert and Bernice Heusinkveld of Sioux Center; two sisters and their husbands, Debra and Daryl Van Den Top, and Amy and Brent Van Den Top, all of Hull; four nephews and nieces; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jake and Angeline Zoet.

Memorials may be directed to STARS (Special Troopers Adaptive Riding School) in Sioux City. He participated in this organziation which is dedicated to helping handicapped children.
