From the Sioux County Bee and Rock Valley Register, January 27, 1899: Chatsworth Chats:
Mr. Beberger died at the residence of his granddaughter, Mrs. Herman Hendricks, on Sunday night [Jan. 22], and was buried at Hawarden Wednesday in the Catholic cemetery. He was 90 years old and a native of Germany.
