Ireton - Mrs. Ernest Goodmanson, 48, lifetime resident of Ireton, died at the Hawarden hospital Monday evening after an illness of three weeks.

Lucille Miller, eldest daughter of Mr. & Mrs. R. S. Miller, was born at Ireton on July 28, 1903. She graduated from Ireton high school with the class of 1922. She taught school for four years, one of which was in the Ireton public schools.

On August 24, 1926, she married Ernest Goodmanson of Ireton. To this union six children were born.

Mrs. Goodmanson was an active member of the Presbyterian church. She was also a member of the Rebekah lodge of Ireton. At the time of her death she was president of the Ireton Woman's Club, of which she had been an active member many years. Several years ago she again taught in the rural schools and continued up to the day she became ill.

Survivors include the widower; three sons, Kenneth of Correctionville; Lyle of Harlan and Larry at home; three daughters, Norma Jean, of Des Moines, and Glenda and Mary Lou, at home; her parents, Mr. & Mrs. R. S. Miller of Ireton; two brothers, Glenn Miller of Bellflower, CA, and Kenneth Miller of Ireton; two sisters, Viola Hughes of Ireton and Marian Riley of Madison, SD, and four grandchildren.
