Sioux Center News, September 25, 1969

Funeral services were held at the Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, September 20, for Kevin Gorter, 3, son of Mr. & Mrs. Lawrence Gorter of Doon, who died September 18, at a Sioux City hospital following a brief illness.

Services were conducted by the Rev. J. Van Sweden and burial was made in Hillside cemetery at Doon.

Kevin was born in Sioux Center, November 21, 1965.

Survivors besides his parents include two brothers, Darrell and Dennis, a sister, Doris, all at home; his maternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Arie Kelderman of Rock Valley, and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Lucy Gorter of Doon.
