Ireton, IA - Funeral services were held Friday at the St. Paul's Lutheran church for Mrs. I. N. Goin, 71, who died at the Sacred Heart hospital in Le Mars, Tuesday afternoon of last week. The body laid in state from 12:30 until 2 at the church, Rev. Paul Fredrichs officiated at the services.

Pall bearers were Harry Sewick, Bert Fritz, A. S. Hemmingson, Riene Onken, Clarence Holtdorf and A. W. Bartlett.

Zana Bruns Goin, daughter to John Bruns and Louisa Twillman, was born in Bremmershaffen, Germany, Jan. 30, 1881.

When she was about 9 years of age, the Bruns family moved to the United States, making their home one mile east of Ireton. On March 29, 1896, she was confirmed in the Lutheran church in Ireton.

On Dec. 8, 1904, she was united in marriage with Isaac Goin. To this union one child was born. However, this child died in early infancy.

From 1925 to 1931 she lived in California with her husband, and it was during this time that her health began to fail.

She is survived by the widower; four sisters, Henrietta Bruns of Wheat Ridge, CO; Matilda and Lena Bruns and Mrs. Carrie Satherlee all of Sioux Falls, four nieces and one nephew.

Those attending the funeral from out of town were Mr. & Mrs. Russell Peters and Jolene; Mr. & Mrs. Albert Satterlee; Matilda Bruns and Verd Satterlee of Sioux Falls; Mrs. John Bruns of Peterson; Mrs. Ivan Kruse of Sioux Rapids and Mr. & Mrs. Robert Fisher of Orange City.
