Sioux Center News February 17, 1982

Velma Hasbrouck, 80, of Sioux Center, died Sunday, February 7, in a hospital in Sioux Center. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home. The Rev. John Ornee officiated. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

She was born Oct. 27, 1901, in New York City and had lived in Sioux Center many years.

Survivors include a sister, Myra Requa of Sioux Center; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
