Mrs. Jessie Sas, 95, of Hull died Tuesday in a hospital in Rock Valley. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the First Reformed Church in Hull. The Rev. Gerald Vander Velde officiated. Burial was in Hope Cemetery under the direction of the Kraai-Oolman Funeral Home in Hull.

Mrs. Sas, the former Jessie Siemonsma, was born Jan. 8, 1889, in the Netherlands. She came to the United States with her parents at the age of 3 and settled in the Rock Valley area. She married John Sas Feb. 25, 1916, in Edgerton, Minn. They farmed in the Hull area until 1947 when they moved into town. He died July 14, 1969. She moved to Pleasant Acres Nursing Home in Hull June 6, 1983. Mrs. Sas was a member of the First Reformed Church.

Survivors include one son, John of Hull; one daughter, Elvina Sas of Hull;two grandchildren and one great grandson.
