Frances Harmelink
Frances "Frankie" Harmelink, 86, of the Inn On Westport, Sioux Falls, formerly of Fairview, S.D., died Saturday, Sept. 28. Funeral service was Tuesday at the Inn On Westport. Burial will be at a later date. Porter Funeral Home of Rock Valley was in charge of arrangements.

Frankie Harmelink was born Dec. 14,1915 near Hudson, to Dick and Gertrude Timmer. She married Andy Harmelink on Oct. 3, 1935 at Elk Point. They resided in the Hawarden area until moving to Fairview in 1945 and then to Sioux Falls
in 1966. Mr. Harmelink died on Aug. 28, 2001.

She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church at Fairview, was a member of the Fairview Extension Club for more than 30 years. She was a volunteer worker for Canton- Inwood Hospital and Senior Citizen's Club at Canton, a member of American Legion Auxiliary and volunteer at the DAV and Royal C. Johnson Hospital at Sioux Falls.

Survivors include: a daughter, Donna Roti of Fairview; two sons, Charles Harmelink of Sioux Falls and Richard Harmelink of Fairview; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Harriet Newman of Fort Dodge and Alberta Altena of Hawarden; and brother, Henry Timmer of Sioux Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andy; and son, Raymond.
