Another Gone From Our Midst

DIED:--On Monday morning May 30 at the home of B. Woods in this city, Miss Anna De Smet, aged about twenty-four years. The cause of her demise was consumption. She had a large circle of acquaintances in the community, being the daughter of John De Smet a well known farmer of this vicinity.

For the past two or three years, however, the girl had worked out in town here and elsewhere until last winter when she began failing in health and at last succumbed to the inevitable fate of all. The funeral occurred Wednesday from St. Mary's church and a large number of people followed her remains to their last resting place.
