Wednesday about two o’clock occurred the death of John Van Diepen living on the L. Morse farm one mile north of Boyden. He has been a great sufferer for some time with cancer of the stomach. The funeral was held in the Holland church Friday conducted by Rev. Van Houte in the Holland language and Rev. Houie in English. Interment was made in the Boyden cemetery.
