Lockey Beadle, 80, of Hudson, SD, died Saturday, March 31, 1984, in a hospital in Hawarden. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, in the First Congregational Church in Hudson. The Rev. Ronald Nuss-Warren officiated. Burial was in the Eden Cemetery under direction of Van- DeMore Funeral Home in Hudson.

Mr. Beadle was born July 23, 1903, in Sioux County. He operated a garage and repair shop at Hudson for 30 years and also was employed by Lincoln County for 20 years. He married Ruth Tullar Oct. 25, 1923, at Hudson. She died in 1970. He was a member of the First Congregational Church, Jeptha Lodge and an honorary member of the Hudson Fire Department.

Survivors include three sons, Miles of San Diego, CA, Earle of Hudson, SD, and Gene of Bruce, MS; one daughter, Mrs. James (Janice) Endsley of Yankton; 12 grandchildren.
