Louise Westcott, 84, of Hawarden, died Thursday, March 29, 1984, while visiting in Denison. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 2, in the Huebner Funeral Home in Denison. The Rev. Paul Wiegert officiated. Burial was in Crawford Heights Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Westcott, the former Louise Nissen, was born April 22, 1899, near Denison. She was raised on a family farm and received her education in rural schools. She married Russell Westcott Oct. 28, 1925, in Denison. They made their first home at Boyer and in 1943 moved to Craig. In 1957 they moved to Hawarden.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Russell L. of Centerville; one sister, Mrs. Annie Koch of Boyer; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
