Mrs. Harry F. (Mercedes) Dreckman, 72, died Tuesday, April 10, 1984, at her Sioux City residence. Services were Saturday, April 14, in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. The Rev. Mark E. Harrington, assistant pastor officiated. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of the Larkin Northside Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dreckman, the former Mercedes J. Mayrose, was born Dec. 2, 1911, at Le Mars. She married Harry F. Dreckman Jan. 12, 1932, in Remsen. They moved to Sioux City in 1961. He died July 23, 1972, in Iowa City. She was a member of the Siouxland Senior Citizens Center and Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

Survivors include five sons, Robert of Rock Hill, SC, Thomas of Buena Park, CA, Kenneth of Hawarden, Daniel of Phoenix, AZ, and Marvin of Sergeant Bluff; four daughters, Mrs. Osama (Rosalie) Anabtawi of London England, Mrs. John (Irene) Swanson and Mrs. Kathleen Dreckman, Rohloff, both of Sioux City, and Mrs! Robert (Angela) McClure of Littleton, CO; four brothers; five sisters and 16 grandchildren.
