Dwight Sybesma, 55, of Sioux Center, IA died Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City.

A visitation with the family present will be held on Thursday from 1-2PM at the First Christian Reformed Church of Sioux Center.

A funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:00PM in the First Christian Reformed Church of Sioux Center with Rev. Carl Klompien officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service in Memory Gardens Cemetery of Sioux Center.

The Sybesma family prefers memorials to Sioux Center Christian School Foundation.

Dwight Sybesma, son of John and Jeanette Grada (Scholten) Sybesma, was welcomed into Jesus' arms on Tuesday, July 8, 2014. Born March 1, 1959 in Sioux Center, he lived his youth on a farm six miles north of Sioux Center.

Dwight attended Sioux Center Christian School and was a member of First Christian Reformed Church of Sioux Center. His siblings were Jon (Pat) Sybesma of Sanborn, Iowa, Carl (Teresa) Sybesma of Rock Valley, Iowa, Ron (Janelle) Sybesma of Newton, Kansas, Helen (George) Andringa of Clinton, Iowa, Les (Lila) Sybesma of Sioux Center, Iowa, Rachel (Kevin) Hansen of Clinton, Iowa, and Vernon Sybesma of Sioux Center, Iowa.

Dwight was preceded in death by his father, John Sybesma, his mother, Jeanette Sybesma, his brother, Carl Sybesma and his niece, Kelly Soo Sybesma.

He loved his nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great- nephews, and remembered them on their birthdays. He loved the farm, enjoyed watching races, and was blessed by his friends.
