William C. Jammer, 65, Laurel, NE, formerly of Hawarden, died Saturday, April 28, 1984, at a Sioux City hospital after a short illness. Services were Monday, April 30, at the United Presbyterian Church, Laurel. The Rev. Thomas Robson officiated. Burial was in the Laurel Cemetery under the direction of Willse Mortuary.
Mr. Jammer was born March 6, 1919, at Marion, SD. He grew up in Rock Rapids. He served as a lieutenant in the Navy during World War II. He married Jeannette Kvols Feb. 23, 1951, at Sioux City. They farmed near Laurel. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and the Laurel Veterans Club.
Survivors include his wife; a son, William M., Wayne, NE; a daughter, Mrs. Larry (Annette) Smith, Laurel; and five grandchildren.
