The Find A Grave website has a photo of his headstone; gives his birth year as 1835 (no place), and his death as Feb. 1892, Sioux County, Iowa; gives his spouse as Mary Ward Hazlitt (1840-1898); and gives probable children as James E. Hazlitt (1857-1935), Frank Hazlitt (1865-1935), Ellen Hazlitt Tuynman (1871-1942), Alfred George Hazlitt (1873-1931), and Adaline I. Hazlitt Tuynman (1875-1926).

This page also includes a transcription of his death notice from the Rock Valley Register (no date given), spelling his surname Hazlett:
Henry Hazlett, one of the first settlers of Sioux county, died last Sunday morning at his home eight miles west of here, after an illness of about two weeks. He came to this county in 1871 and has since resided here continually. The funeral services were held Tuesday and the remains interred in the Beloit cemetery. He leaves a wife and a family of grown up children to mourn his loss, and their sorrow is shared by all who were acquainted with him. Possessed of a generous and warm-hearted disposition, sterling qualities and manly character, he was respected by all.

The online burial list for Beloit Cemetery (Beloit, Lyon County) has Hazlitt, Mary, died 8-24-1898 aged 58 years, wife of H., born 1840; and Hazlitt, Henry, died 2-21-1892 aged 59, born 1833, on same stone with Mary.
