MAUDE HEFFERNAN
Maude Heffernan, 87. of 1316 41st Street. Des Moines, died May 19 of a heart attack after a two week illness at the Bishop Drumm Home. Services were held May 22 at St. John's Catholic Church of Des Moines with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Rock Valley, under the direction of the Caldwell-Brien- Robbins funeral home of Des Moines.

Miss Heggernan was born at Iwood and had lived in Des Moines for 65 years. She was a retired school teacher of Woodrow Wilson Junior high school where she had taught mathmatics. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church of Des Moines.

She is survived by one brother. Walter J. Heffernan of Des Moines and two nieces.
