Sidney Eide Jr.
Sidney C. Eide Jr., 57, of Chatsworth died Thursday, Dec. 28, 1983, in a Sioux Falls veterans hospital after long illness. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 2, 1984, in the Schroeder Funeral Home in Akron. The Rev. Lester Norton officiated. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery in Akron. Graveside military rites were conducted by the Hoschler American Legion
Post 186 of Akron.

Mr. Eide was born Sept. 8, 1926, in Sioux City. He moved to the Chatsworth area in 1963.
He was a truck driver for many years. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Jerome (Judy) Puhl of Chatsworth; one son, Kevin of Chatsworth; his mother, Mrs. Sidney Eide, Sr. of Chatsworth; one brother, Gary of Florida; and one granddaughter.
