Harold F. Lehrman, 76, of Hawarden died Friday, Dec. 30, 1983, in a hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.

Services were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, 1984, in St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ireton. The Rev. Paul Sieveking officiated. Burial was in St. John's Cemetery, rural Ireton. Pallbearers were Frank Lehrman, Ted Smits, Ray De Jager, Wendell Toenjes, Donald Schmidt and Bill Lehrman.

Mr. Lehrman was born Feb. 8, 1907, in Sherman Township, near Maurice. He married Laura Onken July 3, 1930, in Sioux City. He farmed in the Maurice area, moving into Maurice in 1970. In May 1983, they moved to Hawarden. Mr. Lehrman was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Ireton and the Lutheran Laymen's League. He served as superintendent of St. Paul's Sunday School for nine years.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Louise Cleveland and Mrs. John (Lornetta) Dykstra, both of Long Beach, CA; three sisters, Martha Cooper of Le Mars, Elnora Van Gelder of Oklahoma City, OK, and" Carmen DeRaad of Seney; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
