Mrs. Woodrow Peters
Mrs. Woodrow (Evelyn) Peters, 64, of Hawarden died Friday, Dec. 16, 1983; in a Sioux City hospital. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19, in Trinity Lutheran Church in Hawarden. The Rev. Dwight Rengstorf officiated. Burialwas in Grace Hill Cemetery. A prayer service was held in the Dow Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Robert Lovrien, Glenn Harvey, Herb McMillan, Larry Jaqua, William Hill and Wilbur Bos.

Mrs. Peters, the former Evelyn M. Peters, was born July 30, 1919, in Plymouth County near Akron. She married Woodrow Peters June I I , 1942, in Dakota City, NE. The couple lived in the Hawarden area. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors are her husband; three sons, Dan of Whitehouse, TX, Gary of Le Mars and Rick of Hawarden; one daughter, Michelle Peters of Hawarden; four sisters, Matilda Goodrich and Ellen Peters, both of Hawarden, Iva Chriswisser of Sioux City and Lillian Russo of Sunnydale, CA; one brother, Delbert Peters of Hawarden and four grandchildren.
