Adeline Miller, 85, of Hudson, SD, died Monday, Nov. 28,1983, in a nursing home in Hudson. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, in the Hudson Lutheran Church. The Rev. Allen Bidne officiated. Burial was in the Eden Cemetery. A prayer service was held at 7:30 p.m. in the VanDeMore Funeral Home in Hudson.

Mrs. Miller, the former Adeline Schuldt, was born June 22, 1898, at Lagerdorf, Germany. In 1912, she came to the United States with her parents. She married Albert Miller Oct. 10, 1917, at Sioux Center. They farmed in Sioux County near Hudson. He died in 1956 and she moved to Hudson in 1959.

Survivors include two sons, Howard and Roger, both of Hudson; four daughters, Mrs. Bill (Hildegard) Chapman of Phoenix, AZ, Mrs. Austen (Doris) Magee of Plantation, PL, Mrs. Bill (Joann) Van Maanen of Rock Valley, and Mrs. Jerry (Mary) Jensen of Hawarden; one sister, Amanda Miller of Hudson, 28 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild
