Clarence W. Holtdorf, 92, Concordia,KS, a former long-time Ireton resident, died Friday, Nov. 25,1983, at a Concordia hospital. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ireton. The Rev. Paul Sieveking officiated Burial with military graveside rites was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of Dow Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Ralph Brown, Elmer Holtkamp, Ron Van Ravenswaay, Louis Braaks, John Van Beek, and Charles Brown.

Mr. Holtdorf was born June 29,1891, at Morris. He married Matilda Kluter March 28,1923, at Ireton. She died April 5, 1971. He farmed most of his life in the Ireton area. After his wife's death, he moved to Concordia. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, of the Ireton American Legion post and of the Veterans of WorldWar I barracks in Concordia. He served in the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Eloise) Stnsaas, Concordia, and Judith Carson, Fayetteville, AK; a sister, Mrs. Richard (Myrtle) Erland, Ireton; and five grandchildren.
