Ralph Kurvink, 100, died Tuesday, Oct. 25,1983, in Lemon Grove, CA. Kurvink was born July 31, 1883, in South Dakota. He was a long-time resident of Hawarden, leaving Hawarden in 1942 after the death of his wife, Lottie.

He is survived by four daughters, Dorothy Sparks, Corona Del Mar, CA; Val Jean Bellwood, Newport Beach, CA; Marian Bubs, Lemon Grove, CA; and Donna Mae Schwitzer of Sierra Madre,CA; one son, Francis, La Mirada, CA; two sisters; 17 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren
