From the Sioux County Bee And Rock Valley Register, September 10, 1897:

DIED--In this city Thursday [September 9] at 4 p.m., an infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Lynch, aged 16 months. Funeral services will be held at the Catholic church to-morrow at 10 o'clock a.m.
