Mrs. Floyd (Shirley) Albers, 54, of Hawarden died Friday, July 22,1983, at her farm home. Services were at 10 a.m. Monday at American Lutheran Church. The Rev. Robert Hansen officiated. Burial was atGrace Hill Cemetery under direction of Dow Funeral Home in Hawarden.Pallbearers were Donald Witt, David Dierks, Harold Kleinhans, Marvin Mouw, Duane Witt and Ralph Bos.

Mrs. Albers, the former Shirley Fay Dierks, was born on June 29, 1929, near Hawarden. She married Floyd Albers on Feb. 3,1950, at Vermillion, SD. She was a member of American Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Mark (Althea) Squier of Sioux City, Mrs. Doyle (Karen) Fickbohm of Alcester, SD, and Pam Albers of Hawarden; a son, Mark of Hawarden; 10grandchildren; two brothers, Billy Dierks of Fort Worth, TX, and Myron Dierks of Chatsworth; a sister, Donna Hendricks of San Juan, TX.
