Robert H. Miller, 58, of Hawarden died Tuesday, Aug. 30, 1983, in a hospital in Hawarden. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Dwight Rengstorf officiated. Burial was in the Grace Hill Cemetery underdirection of Dow Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Walter Huebner, Elmer Johnson, Lawrence Muth, Raymond Benson, J. B. Schiefen and Henry Gebauer.

Mr. Miller was born Dec. 18, 1924, in Sioux County. He married Donna Treiber June 12, 1949, at Hawarden. They farmed in the Hawarden area. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where he held various offices and was a member of the Lutheran Layman's League.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Terry (Sandy) Edgington of Hawarden and Mrs. Chuck (Marsha) Brooks of Sioux Falls, SD; two sons, Larry and Donnie, both of Sioux Falls; his mother, Mrs. Amanda Miller of Hudson, SD; two brothers, Raymond of Sioux Center and Fred of Omaha; two sisters, Mrs. Ted (Elinor) Quarnstrom and Mrs. Roy (Lois Jean) Rollings, both of Hudson, and three grandsons.
