Maurice K. "Dugan" Rundell, a Parker music teacher, choral director and farmer, died Monday, Sept. 26,1983, at Sioux Valley Hospital after a long illness.

He was 67 Born in Parker on Dec. 24, 1915, he graduated from Hurley High School and Yankton College. In 1941, he married Ruth Clark in Armour, SD. They farmed near Parker until he retired in 1978. Mr. Rundell taught music in towns
around Parker, including Hawarden. He is survived by his wife; one son, Sam, St. Louis; one daughter, Mrs. Craig (Mary) Alberty, Ottumwa; four grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Robert (Eleanor) Misner, Belmond.

Services were at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at the United Methodist Church in Parker. Burial was in Rosehill Cemetery in Parker.
