Mrs. Henry Rozeboom passed away at her home early Thursday morning, December 31, 1942 at the age of 54 years following a lingering illness. On Saturday she suffered a stroke from which she failed to recuperate.

Funeral services were held for her on Monday afternoon, January 4, at the First Reformed Church with Rev. L.A. Brunsting officiating. Acting as pallbearers were James Rozeboom, Dick Rozeboom, Gerrit Rozeboom, Bert Dykhuizen, Elmer Borgman and Arthur Kruizenga, Elmer Borgman and Arthur Kruizenga. Interment was made at the local cemetery.

Left to mourn her departure are the husband, Henry Rozeboom, and one adopted son, Clarence Rozeboom of California. Also her aged father, Mr. Dick Kruizenga and four sisters, Mrs. Jake Borgman, Mrs. J.H. Rozeboom, Dena and Grace Kruizenga all of Sioux Center and four brothers Henry Kruizenga Sioux Center, Dick Kruizenga of Wisconsin, John of Sioux Center and Peter of Orange City.

Mrs. Rozeboom, nee Jennie Kruizenga, was born on August 31, 1888. In 1909 she was united in marriage to Mr. Henry Rozeboom. She spent all of her life in the Sioux Center community and she was an active and willing worker both in church and community activities.
