Dick L. Rozeboom, 75, of Rock Valley died Thursday, February 15, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.

Services were at 2 P.M. Tuesday at Netherlands Reformed Church in Rock Valley with the Rev. John Spaans officiating. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery.

Dick was born August 30, 1925, near Lester, the son of Lane and Hattie (Vander Weide) Rozeboom. He served in the U.S. Army in Italy during World War II, 1945 through February 1947. He married Hermina Zomer on March 9, 1948, at Corsica, South Dakota. The couple farmed west of Rock Valley until they retired and moved to Rock Valley in 1990. He was a Netherlands Reformed Christian School bus driver for 20 years. He also enjoyed repairing and selling bicycles and spending time with his family.

He was a member of Netherlands Reformed Church of Rock Valley.

Survivors include his wife of Rock Valley; six sons and their wives, Harry and Diane, Herman and Cheryl and Leonard D. and Evonne, all of Rock Valley, Larry and Tamara of Spencer, Richard and Lynnette of Rock Valley and Harlan and Carol of Sioux Center; 17 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; one brother and his wife, William and Jackie Rozeboom of Rock Valley; two sisters, Dilly Munch of Sioux Falls and Dena Erickson of Inwood; and a brother-in-law Ted Dykstra of Rock Valley.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Gertrude Dykstra; a brother, Lane Rozeboom; and a grandchild.
