Mrs. Gerrit Rozeboom passed away Saturday, June 19, at the Grossmann Hospital at Orange City after a long and very painful illness due to cancer.

Mrs. Rozeboom, nee Mary Noteboom was born at Meservey, Iowa on October 22, 1880. In the year of 1900 she was united in marriage to Mr. Gerrit Rozeboom who preceded her in death on September 17, 1937. One child also preceded her in death.

Left to mourn her departure are the four sons William Rozeboom of Dubuque, Gerrit Rozeboom of Sioux Center, John Rozeboom of Rock Valley and Edward Rozeboom of Sioux Center. There are also five grandchildren surviving.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at the Edward Rozeboom home and at the First Christian Reformed Church. Rev. Bernard Haan officiated at the services, and burial took place at the local cemetery.
