Winifred De Vries, 90, of Orange City died Monday, January 5, in a hospital in Orange City.

Services were at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, January 8, in the First Christian Church. The Rev. Carl Zylstra officiated. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery.

Mrs. De Vries, the former Winifred Van Driel, was born October 13, 1896, at Orange City. She married Andrew De Vries February 10, 1916, at Orange City. They farmed near Orange City until 1956 when they retired and moved to town. Andrew De Vries died February 8, 1970, at Orange City. In 1981 she became a resident of Pleasant Acres in Hull.

Mrs. De Vries was a charter member of the First Christian Reformed Church and former member of Monica Society and Ladies Zangkoor.

Survivors include a son, Harold of Wild Wood, Florida; a daughter, Wilma Kraai of Holstein; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
