Wiebe S. De Vries of Sioux Center died Wednesday at the Sioux Center Hospital.

Services were at 1:30 P.M. Friday in the Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Sioux Center. The Rev. Duane Tinklenberg officiated. Burial was Saturday in Peoria, Iowa. Arrangements were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Sioux Center. Visitation was from 7 to 9 P.M. Thursday at the De Vries home.

Mr. De Vries was born June 18, 1904, at Pella. He lived at Pella during his youth and married Gertrude Bennick of Peoria, February 19, 1928. They lived in the Peoria area after their marriage. Mrs. De Vries died March 1, 1967.

Mr. De Vries married Gerdena De Boer, January 14, 1969 at Sioux Center and they lived there in Sioux Center.

Survivors include the widow, Gerdena; two sons, Harold of Lynnville and Syburn of Pella; two daughters, Mrs. Earl (Gertrude) Visser of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Mrs. William (Joyce) Heynen of Sioux Center; a step-daughter, Mrs. Verdean (Gloria) Wynja of Orange City; two brothers, Jacob and Conrad, and two sisters, Mrs. Henry (Tena) Stursma and Mrs. Cecil (Dorothy) De Vries, all of Pella; 17 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
