SERVICES HELD SATURDAY FOR MRS. CALAHAN
Funeral services for Mrs. Walter Calahan, who died Thursday, April 29, in the home of her sister, Mrs. John Jurgenson in Hawarden, were held Saturday afternoon at the Barnard Funeral home. Rev. C. W. Burnett of Sioux City, assisted by Rev. Leon Nelson,, was in charge of the services. Burial was in Hawarden.

Mrs. Calahan was born at Eagleville, Mo., March 27, 1886. In 1902 she married J. H. Green, and one son Wallace was born. (Mr. Green preceded her in death by many years. She married Walter Calahan at Canton, S. D., August 24, 1924.

Survivors are her husband; the son, Wallace Green, of Menlo Park, Calif., a sister, Mrs. Jurgenson of Hawarden and a brother, Charles H. Bellmore of Denver, Colo. Mrs. Calahan came to Hawarden last November and ever since was cared for in the Jurgenson home. She was a member of the reorganized Latter Day Saints Church.
