Funeral Held Mon.
For Eben Brink, 56, Former 0. C. Man ORANGE CITY—Funeral services for a former Orange Citian, Eben Brink of Hay-ward, Calif., were held at the Second Christian Reformed church here at 1:30 Monday afternoon, October 18, with Rev. Le Roy Nattross officiating. Interment was in the Orange City cemetery. On Saturday, October 16, funeral services were held at the Pratt-Flierl Mortuary in California with Rev. Rhodes officiating.

The deceased was returned to his birthplace accompanied by his and nephew, John Schaap, Mrs. Brink was unable to come here due to a previous illness from which she is still recovering. Mr. Brink passed away suddenly October 14 of a cerebral hemmorage at the age of 56 years and seven days.

Mr. Ebcn Brink was born in Orange City October 8, 1898, to the late John A. and Hattie Brink. He was united in marriage to Maude Brink on February 28, 1919 and three children were born to this union, of whom two died in infancy. Mr. Brink lived in this vicinity most of his life except for five years in Mississippi and 7 1/2 years ago he moved to California for his health. He was a member of the First Presbyterian church and the Optimist Club of Hayward. Survivors are his widow, 1 son, Donald Brink of Hayward, Calif., and 2 grandchildren: Donald Eben, Jr., 6, and Tameron Elise, 2 ½ years.

Also surviving are the mother of the departed, Mrs. Hattie Brink of O. C., and the following brothers and sisters: John, Roy, land Bennett Brink all of L. A., Calif., Ella MacDonald of L. A. Calif., Cornelia Mugge and Harriet Davidson of Mason City, la., Marie Hylkema of Big Rapids, Mich., Wm. Brink of Grand Island, Nebr. Preceding in death are 2 infant children, 2 brothers, Marion and Ted Brink and his father many years ago
